"The mushroom series is a continuation of our exploration of botanical motifs, and our interest in creating laborious and intricate ceramic surfaces that produce complex glaze effects. For this series the mushrooms are hand built as individual pieces. They are later adhered to the body of the main piece, and finally hand formed into undulating shapes in a similar process as our conch series."
